Which fuels can I log?

Diesel, red diesel, petrol, AdBlue and LPG.

How is fuel use worked out?

From fill to fill: the litres needed to refill divided by the hours, km or miles since the last fill. Machines on hours show L/hr, on km L/100 km, and on miles mpg.

Can operators see what fuel costs?

No. Operators and managers can record fills, deliveries and dips, but prices are only shown to the account owner.

Can I keep a record of red diesel use?

Yes. Each fill records the fuel type and the machine, so you have a record of which machines used red diesel and when. Since April 2022 red diesel can only be used for allowed purposes such as agriculture, so check which of your machines are entitled to it.

Can I export the fuel log?

Yes. Fills export to CSV for your accounts.

What it does

Fills in seconds

Machine, litres and reading. Fills from your tank are priced from the last delivery; forecourt fills take the price and supplier.

Bulk tanks

Each tank's level is worked out from the last dip plus deliveries, minus the fills drawn from it.

Dips that catch losses

Record a dip and see how it compares with what should be there. Gaps over 2% are flagged and over 5% raise an alert.

Deliveries and prices

Supplier, invoice reference and price per litre for every delivery, with a price history for each tank.

Fuel use per machine

Litres per hour, per 100 km or mpg, worked out from fill to fill. AdBlue is kept out of the figures.

Operators log, owners see prices

Operators can record fills, deliveries and dips without seeing what fuel costs.
